The IC660BBA104 is a current source combined I/O module with six (6) input circuits consisting of four (4) analog input channels capable of receiving a 4-20 mA signal and two (2) output channels providing a 4-20 mA signal. In addition, the module features group to group isolation, block to block isolation and individual channel isolation of the input channel with a rated voltage of 1500 V.

The IC660BBA104 input channels have a full scale reading accuracy of 0.1% at 25 degrees Celsius, a resolution of 1 μA, user-configurable conversion times from 16.6ms to 400ms, and an overrange capacity from 0 mA to 25 mA. Each input channel is designed with individual diagnostic functions such as under/out of range, high/low alarms and open circuit detection.

The IC660BBA104 output channels have an accuracy of 0.15% of the full scale reading and a resolution of 6 μA. The typical update frequency for each channel is 6ms to 8ms, with an overrange capacity of 0-24 mA. Similar to input channels, each output channel is capable of internal diagnostics, such as Underrange, Overrange, and Feedback error.

It is compatible with PCIM modules, QBIM modules, and all GE Genius bus controllers. It has a programmable conversion time that combines noise suppression levels with input resolution. Users can choose longer conversion times to improve input resolution. The individual output circuit is isolated from all other circuits within the module. The output channels use dual 12-bit digital-to-analog converters while independently controlling the current in the 0 to 24 mA range.
