Describes the analog input module

The IC660BBA106 is a Genius I/O Block, which is a current source analog input module. The I/O module has six (6) input points with independently isolated channels. The module accepts 0-20 mA and 4-20 mA input signals and is used to connect various devices such as transmitters, variable frequency drivers (VFDS), dampers, panel meters, data loggers, signal isolators, converters and others.
The IC660BBA106 Block I/O is powered by providing external voltages of 115VAC or 125VDC, nominal values and actual operating ranges of 93-132VAC or 105-145 VDC. It has a resolution of one (1) μA, and users can choose from update rates of 16.6mS to 400mS. It has interchannel isolation rated at 1500V RMS. It has built-in internal diagnostic functions such as underrange, overrange, high alarm, low alarm and open circuit.
The IC660BBA106 needs to operate in a temperature range of 0°C to +60°C (+32°F to +140°F), storage temperature of -40°C to +100°C (-40°F to +212°F), humidity of 5% to 95%, non-condensing, storage temperature of +100°C. Operating vibration is 5-10 Hz0.2 inch (5.08 mm) displacement and 10-200 Hz at 1G.
The IC660BBA106 has an open circuit voltage of 24VDC, a short circuit current of <75 mA, and a loop impedance of up to 1000 ohms (0mA to 20mA) and 800 ohms (20mA to 25mA), as well as normal mode rejection of -45dB at 50 and 60Hz.
The IC660BBA106 has built-in status LED indicators such as Unit OK and I/O enabled. Under normal operation, the two LED indicators should be stable ON state. Other LED characteristics may indicate forced, disabled, and non-communicating block I/O modules.
The IC660BBA106 I/O module is designed with fault reporting to automatically diagnose the system and check for out-of-range and out-of-range conditions in input streams, alerts, and other events. The GE IC660BBA106 I/O block dissipates up to 12 watts of heat during normal use. The working temperature requirements for normal operation are 0-60 degrees Celsius. Each individual circuit of the module has 2 alarms. One alert is for low values and the other for high values. This module has the circuit scale, redundant CPU and input transformation time. Interchannel isolation is 1500 volts RMS and the modules have a thermal drift of 70 ppm per degree Celsius. The input impedance of the I/O block is 100 ohms. The IC660BBA106 I/O module has normal mode rejection of -45 dB at frequencies of 50 to 60 Hz. The input accuracy of the module is 0.1% of the complete reading.
