The IC693ALG220 is a 90-30 series module formerly manufactured by GE Fanuc and currently owned by Emerson Automatics. The module is primarily used as an analog input module and is compatible with input signal ranges from -10 VDC to + 10 VDC. The module is optionally compatible with 0-20 mA signals, which can be enabled by installing 250 ohms on the user terminal connector of the module. The IC693ALG220 is equipped with an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with a voltage input conversion resolution of 12 bits. The current input is 10 bits, which can be increased to 11 bits using precision resistors. Each channel of the module has a separate update rate of 4 ms, while the module is powered by 24VDC provided by a PLC power supply. The backplane current consumption is 27 mA for the +5 V backplane bus and 98 mA for the isolated +24 V backplane bus. It mounts on any of the available I/O slots in the 5 - or 10-slot 90-30 series baseboards and occupies a single slot in the rack. The IC693ALG220 has a typical absolute accuracy of +/-10 mV/40 μA and a maximum absolute accuracy of +/-30 mV/160 μA over the operating temperature range. It has # 1 least significant bit (LSB) linearity, 17 Hz input filter response, 1500 volts module isolation between the field side and the logical side, > 80 db cross-channel rejection, and an input impedance of > 9 megohm in voltage mode and 250 ohms when operating in current mode.

The IC693ALG220 module is GE Fanuc's analog input module, part of the 90-30 series. The input module is a component of the programmable logic controller (PLC) with 4 input channels. According to user application requirements, each channel can easily convert analog signals to digital signals. In addition, the GE Fanuc IC693ALG220 CAV input module allows users to convert input signals from -10 to +10 volts. The conversion speed of each channel is about 1 millisecond. As a result, the IC693ALG220 input module provides an update rate of approximately 4 milliseconds for any channel at a time. The converted signal has a 12-bit binary resolution. The GE Fanuc IC693ALG220 input module is equipped with a current-limiting input mode and a jumper on the user terminal connector for each channel. The user can connect the internal 250 ohm shunt resistor to the circuit using a jumper. The shunt resistor allows an input range of -40 to +40 mA. However, the user must continuously monitor the input current to prevent the input resistor from self-heating, as this can negatively affect the current accuracy. The main power supply of the GE Fanuc IC693ALG220 CAV input module is an isolated +24 volt DC power supply, powered by a PLC power supply. The voltage is sent through the regulator/inverter to generate the voltage required for the operation of the IC693ALG220 module. The IC693ALG220 input module has an LED that shows the user its operating status.
