The GE Fanuc IC693CBL305 star cable is a serial communication cable designed to physically divide the combined serial ports of the GE Series 90-30 communication coprocessor modules into 2 ports, called port 1 and Port 2, for easy wiring. The IC693CBL305 cable is also used to separate 2 ADC port connections from a single connector on the ADC module. The cable is supplied with the GE series 90-30 communication coprocessor module. The IC693CBL305 star cable is designed to provide a physical distance between serial ports, thus providing a convenient space for cabling. The IC693CBL305 star cable is compatible with 90-30 series CMM and PCM modules, which have ports 1 and 2 configured as a single connector by default, which helps provide physical isolation between these two port signals.
