The IC693MCM001 module is a digital servo interface module manufactured by GE Fanuc/GE Intelligent Platforms as part of the 90-30 series product line. The module shall be installed in a control system according to EN 61000-4-2. The 90-30 series PLC system requires this module to be installed in a metal housing that provides a metal-to-metal connection to ensure security around the door. The IC693MCM001 module also requires a continuous shielded servo command cable, which should be clamped at both ends using a high-frequency ground cable. Since this module is also a Power Mate J interface module, only standard operations are supported. It provides motion programs, position control, and input and output interfaces. The mode also provides a link to the digital servo system as well as digital torque and speed control.
The 2-axis version of the GE Fanuc IC693MCM001 interface module has a servo loop update time of 2 milliseconds and a block processing time of less than 5 seconds.
