R&d and investment
In response to this problem, Honeywell will increase investment in research and development in 2024, as an important part of which, Honeywell's High Performance Materials department will work with the thermal management team of Jilin University's College of Automotive Engineering to seek new high performance refrigerants. The solution developed in this collaboration is expected to provide better low-temperature heating performance while meeting the global automotive demand for low-power air-conditioning cooling. The solution will have the advantages of environmental friendliness, efficiency, safety and low cost to better help improve the endurance performance and ride comfort of the next generation of new energy vehicles.
Honeywell's core business meets the needs of the Chinese market, and the new energy vehicle industry is one of the business areas Honeywell focuses on and actively expands. Honeywell will continue to implement the localization strategy of "East serves East" and work with multiple partners to escort the new energy vehicle industry to a sustainable future.
