GE Fanuc IC660BRD025 Genius Modular Redundant feed current output module is a 32-point discrete output DC module for the GMR output subsystem to control discrete output loads. The IC660BRD025 output module is used to configure H-Block redundant output groups. The H-Block output group consists of 4 output blocks (2 source blocks and 2 receiver blocks). This configuration is one of the output group configurations of the GMR output subsystem, including the T block redundant output group, the I block redundant output group, and one of the 1 diagnostic block redundant output group. In the H block configuration, two IC660BRD025 feed current output blocks are connected in parallel on side 1 of each load, and two source output blocks are connected in parallel on the other side of the load.
The IC660BRD025 submerged output module has 32 output points that are integrated with blocking diodes and feedback resistors. These diodes and feedback resistors help simplify system wiring and improve system reliability by preventing failures due to reverse drive current. The IC660BRD025 sinking output module is rated to operate at 5, 12 or 24 volts DC, and the working load current ranges from 0.5 amps to 1.0 amps. It has a maximum inrush current of 4.0 amps and an output off state leakage current of 20 microamps. Use the Genius I/O handheld monitor to configure the IC660BRD025 sink output module in GMR mode and install it on a bus configured to match the GMR Settings. Unlike the input subsystem, which is configured to perform voting using GMR software, the GMR output group performs voting by comparing the output data from each of the 32 points received from the PLC.

Features:
Provides 16 digital input or output channels. These channels can be configured as inputs to receive digital signals from sensors (e.g., limit switches, buttons), or as outputs to send digital control signals to actuators (e.g., relays, solenids, motor starters).
Operates in the DC voltage range, usually 12VDC or 24VDC [1,2,3].
Applications:
The IC660BRD025 is used in a variety of industrial automation applications where PLCS need to be connected to digital sensors and actuators for process control. Here are some examples:
Factory automation: Monitoring and controlling discrete events in the production line, such as detecting the presence of products, triggering machine operations, or activating alarms.
Building automation systems: Connect to occupancy sensors, door switches or lighting controls in building management systems.
Material handling systems: Control the operation of conveyors, sorters or pick and place robots.
Main features:
16 digital I/O channels (configurable as input or output).
Dc voltage operation (usually 12VDC or 24VDC).
High density design to provide a large number of channels in a compact module.
Redundant features, such as "T" output configurations, may be available to improve reliability for critical applications (see specific product documentation).
