Desciption

The IC800SSI216RD2 is a GE FANUC VersaMotion servo motor controller. The controller is a 180-250 VAC device with 3 phase inputs. It supports DeviceNet programming. The controller has position feedback, a serial port, and eight discrete inputs and outputs. The front panel of the device also displays module status, network status, address/code, and Fwd/ reverse. The two-character LED display allows for real-time diagnostic updates using mnemonics, such as "OK", "OV" (for motor overvoltage), LE (for lost enablement), etc.

The IC800SSI216RD2 is designed for use with a specific family of motors. This includes MTR-3S45-H, MTR-3S46H, MTR-3S63-G, MTR-3S65-G, MTR-3S67-G, MTR-3T45-1, MTR-3T54-H, and MTR-3T55-H. These motors have a continuous stall torque range of 32 to 150.3 in-lb and are rated at 1,400 to 5,300 RPM. Refer to the GE data sheet for specific information.

The IC800SSI216RD2 operates from 0 to 50 degrees Celsius. It is stored and transported at a temperature of -40 to 80 degrees Celsius, with a humidity of 5 to 95 percent and no condensation. The radiator must be vertically oriented. Please note that the unit is rated to operate at 3,300 feet; Operations at higher altitudes should not be performed without consulting GE. The module is designed for installation with a 3-inch clearance on all four sides for effective cooling.
