The Allen-Bradley 1756-M08SEG is a SERCOS interface module that can be connected to SERCOS interface drives that comply with the expansion pack configuration file. It has eight axes available, but you can only use the AXIS_GENERIC_DRIVE data type for it. A single controller can use up to 32 axes. At 8 Mbps, SERCOS cycle times are 0.5 ms for up to 4 drives (also unique to Kinetix 6000 drives), 1 ms for up to 8 drives, and 2 ms for up to 16 drives.
