The main uses of the 3300 XL NSv transducer system are
Back holes, side view or rearview mirrors limit the use of standard bends
Nevada * 3300 and 3300 XL 5 and 8 mm sensor systems. It is also ideal for small target applications, such as measuring smaller radial vibrations on axes less than 51 mm (2 in) or planar targets less than 15 mm (0.6 in) in axial positions. It is mainly used in the following applications where the fluid film bearing machine has a small shaft or a reduced side view:
Radial vibration and radial position measurement
Axial (thrust) position measurement
Tachometer and zero speed measurement
Phase reference (Keyphasor*) signal
The design of the 3300 XL NSv transducer system allows it to replace the 3300RAM sensor system and the 3000 Series or 7000 Series 190 sensor system. The upgrade from the 3300 RAM system to the 3300 XL NSv system uses the existing probe, extension cord, and Proximitor sensor, a monitoring system with the 3300 XL NSv. Upgrade from a 3000 series or 7000 series sensor
The system must replace the probe, extension cord, and near-end sensor assembly with an NSv.
