Tofino"Honeywell MODBUS/TCP Firewall is a new and unique solution for Honeywell, MTL, and Byres Security companies to address the important issues of network protection from malicious or accidental interference. Instead of a standard, highly sophisticated, "IT-style" firewall that requires highly trained staff to install it, the Tofino" device requires only a field technician to connect the power and two network cables and turn it on. Tofino"s is pre-configured to only allow MODBUS/TCP traffic to block all other traffic through the firewall. This also ensures that MODBUS traffic is only allowed from the side of the network where the MODBUS host is, blocking any unsolicited traffic from MODBUS slave stations. The system has the flexibility to protect small plants with single-PLCs, or multinational organizations with thousands of critical equipment scattered around the world. By deploying Tofino" devices between the Honeywell C300 network and other MODBUS devices, SCADA and process control companies provide a solution to the multi-layered security system.

Tofino" boot ready to protect your C300 system. All Tofino" devices can be upgraded on-site via a secure system. Documents are encrypted during the USB upgrade process and signed for confidentiality and integrity.
Tofio will provide detailed information on all network traffic conditions and anomalies in the Nevers system, via the standard Honeywell reporting feature. Redundant power inputs reduce the risk of user power outages
