Manufacturer Part Number: FC-TSAO-0220 m
Manufacturer: Honeywell
Description: Honeywell FC-TSAO-0220M control module
Full description: Honeywell FC-TSAO-0220M Control module Field Terminal Assembly Module TSAOH-0220M is the interface between the system interconnect cable SICC-0001/Lx and the external field cable (screw terminal).
Field terminal module TSAOH-0220m is the interface between the system interconnection cable SICC-0001/Lx and the external field cable (screw terminal). The two analog output channels (redundant pairs) of the SAO-0220m module can be connected to the TSAOH-0220m via the system interconnect cable SICC-0001/Lx.
The TSAOH-0220m module provides a HART interface on each channel, allowing up to eight TSAOH-0220m modules to be connected in series, enabling the use of all 16 HART channels of HARTmultiplexer.
The TSAOH-0220m module provides interfaces with HART multiplexer units of MTL and Pepperl+Fuchs (P+F). Special connectors are installed on the FTA to allow the use of standard cables from these suppliers.
The FC-TSAO-0220M is a dual channel PLC control module manufactured by Honeywell [1,2,3,4].
Function: It acts as an interface module between a programmable logic controller (PLC) and external devices. The PLC controls the entire automation process, and the FC-TSAO-0220M converts signals between the PLC and external devices.
Dual channel: This indicates that it can handle two independent communication channels simultaneously.
Analog I/O (FS 0 (4) -20mA) : The "FS 0 (4) -20mA" notation indicates that it handles analog current signals in the 0-20mA or 4-20mA range. These are standard current loop signals commonly used in industrial automation to transmit process variables such as pressure, temperature, flow, or level from a sensor to a control system.
Applications:
Based on these features, the FC-TSAO-0220M is used in various industrial automation applications where PLCS need to be connected to analog sensors using current loop signals. Here are some examples:
Factory automation: Monitoring and controlling industrial processes such as chemical mixing, temperature regulation or flow control in production lines.
Building Automation systems: Integrate the temperature, pressure and flow sensors of HVAC equipment into a central building management system.
Data acquisition system: Analog sensor data is collected from a variety of sources and fed to the PLC for analysis and control decisions.
