The NI PCI-6036E (Part number: 778465-01) is a low-cost, versatile DAQ device that uses innovative E-series technology to provide reliable 16-bit protection for a variety of applications. The PCI 6036E has 16 single-ended or 8 differential input channels (16-bit resolution) and two 16-bit output channels. The device also features eight computerized I/O lines and two 24-bit, 20 MHz counters/clocks. The NI PCI-6036E can stream at a sampling rate of 200 kS/ s or an output rate of 10 kS/ s. With the alternative of NI devices and drivers, users can obtain adaptive operating systems, application advancement conditions, and application planning decisions. Users can use NI signal molding to complete their DAQ framework to quantify any type of sensor and voltage.

Using the software, users can arrange channels for two unique single-ended associations: RSE setup and NRSE design. RSE Settings are used for floating signal sources. In this case, the DAQ PCI 6036E provides a reference ground point for the external signal. The NRSE input is configured for a ground-referenced signal source. For this case, the external signal provides its own reference ground point, while the PCI 6036E National Instruments do not need to provide a reference ground point. The device is run using NI-DAQmx driver software.

The NI PCI-6036E features onboard self-calibration, a precision voltage reference for calibration and measurement accuracy. The self-calibration function is completely controlled by software and does not require changes to the potentiometer. The calibration process of this device writes the value to the onboard calibration DAC or CalDAC. The E Series multifunctional DAQ can also be externally calibrated with a recommended calibration interval of 1 year. The external calibration reference voltage is between 6 V and 10 V. It has a recommended warm-up time of 15 minutes. The NI device weighs 4 ounces and measures 6.9 x 4.2 inches. In the physical dimension. It has a recommended operating temperature range of 0 to 55 °C and a storage temperature range of -20 to 70 °C.National
