The T8842 Multifunctional Field Terminal Assembly (VFTA) is primarily designed to act as the primary interface between field equipment related to the detection and suppression of fire and gas hazards and the T8448 Trusted three-module Redundant (TMR) area interface module. It also serves as an interface to the trusted TMR valve [monitoring module T8449], where the digital output of the solenoid valve is interchangeable with the analog input of the valve [] position.
Each channel of the VFTA is configurable and can be connected to a variety of field devices. These devices include devices that generate analog and digital input signals, as well as output devices that require digital signals up to 28 Vdc.
