The VMIVME-4140 analog output board offers 32 high-quality analog output channels with 12-bit resolution that can deliver or absorb 10 mA current at ±10 V voltage. Each output is assigned a dedicated digital-to-analog converter (DAC). The analog output can be disconnected from field wiring for off-line testing. Calibration and self-testing are initiated by a VMEbus system reset or by executing software commands. During calibration, the offset coefficient and gain coefficient tables are compiled and stored in RAM. Each of the 32 channels configured in six output voltage ranges has an offset and gain entry.
