GE Fanuc IC660BRD020 I/O blocks are 24 volt and 48 volt DC rated discrete I/O source blocks. There are 16 I/O circuits on the IC660BRD020 I/O block to provide current to the field output device. The IC660BRD020 I/O module is designed for electromechanical sensors and solid-state sensors. The IC660BRD020 I/O block measures 8.83 x 3.56 x 4.42 inches. The block weighs about 1.8 kg. The leds used to display the running status of the block include the "Unit OK" status LED and the "I/O Enabled" status LED. In addition, an LED is provided to display the status of each individual circuit. The block-to-block isolation voltage is rated at 1500 volts. When all 16 outputs are turned on and 2 amps of current are consumed, the module's heat dissipation is 91.5 watts.

The IC660BRD020 I/O module has 16 discrete circuits, each of which can be configured as input, tri-state input, or output. The output circuit can be connected directly to the input circuit without reversing the logic state or using other components. The IC660BRD020 I/O block operates at 18 to 56 volts DC (24 and 48 volts DC) and 24 volts DC operates at 18 to 30 volts DC. The maximum ripple rating is 10%. The typical DC power required for the IC660BRD020 I/O module is 150 mA and the maximum power required is 300 mA. Rated power drop time is 10 milliseconds. Any handheld display (HHM) can be used with the IC660BRD020 I/O module. An HHM with directory number IC66HHM501 is required to configure the IC660BRD020 I/O block for redundancy or to change the baud rate configuration.
