The IC660ELB921 is a PC interface module (PCIM) primarily used to connect to Genius I/O devices residing on the Genius I/O bus, allowing data exchange and controller like functions to be implemented by the host controller. The PCIM module was previously produced by GE Fanuc and is now part of Emerson Automation. The IC660ELB921 is a single-slot PC interface module that supports the installation of a single subboard whose directory number is IC660ELB912. The interface module is installed in the ISA slot of the host and requires 4 bytes of memory from the host device and an additional 16 KB of memory from the installed sub-card. It draws up to 400 mA of current from the backplane, with a maximum of +/ -10% at 5 VDC. It has bus load of 1 LS TTL load per input and bus driver capability of 10 LS TTL load per output. The PCIM card is a single-slot "AT" style board. It provides connection to an external handheld monitor (HHM), as well as serial bus connection via board edge terminals or external connectors. The IC660ELB921 comes with status LED indicators such as Daughterboard OK and Communication OK. The IC660ELB921 operates at 0-60 C (32-140 F), while the storage temperature is -40 to +70 C (-40 to 158 F) and the relative humidity is 5-95% (non-condensing). It has an operating height of 40,00 feet, an operating vibration displacement of 0.2 inches, an operating shock of 5 G, and a duration of 10 milliseconds. The IC660ELB921 is configured using PCIM configuration software, which provides access to a software library that provides advanced interfaces. The version of the software library is compatible with MSDOS operating systems such as C/MSDOS and BASIC/MSDOS.

The IC660ELB921 PC interface module is a single-channel PCI board manufactured by GE Fanuc as part of the Genius I-O family. It can only connect to one Genius bus at a time. This module is used for IBM PC, XT, and AT types of personal computers. The AT-type interface board is also compatible with different Genius communication protocols and communication timing. The IC660ELB921 PC interface module provides a single subboard and mainboard. The module provides configuration software that can be used to configure the subboard independently of the motherboard. The child board can be separately connected to the Genius bus device and acts as a universal I/O controller for the I/O system. The IC660ELB921 single-slot PCI board features an efficient motherboard that connects the daughter board to an IBM-compatible host. It is used to buffer all the signals needed to communicate with the system host bus. Some of the sub-board control and monitoring functions provided by the motherboard include ISA-compatible backplanes, low power voltage level detection, address decoding via memory mapping, and signal sorting. Each subboard has 2 leds that indicate the status of the board and the communication process. The memory requirements of the motherboard are 4 bytes, and the requirements of the daughter board are 16 KB. The IC660ELB921 PC interface module comes with configuration software and a PCI software library that provides an advanced interface between user-developed software and PCIM. It uses a logic power supply of 5 volts DC, and the change should not be more than 10% below or above the nominal level for the module to work properly. During installation, be sure to leave at least 1/8 inch of space between this module and other modules for proper cooling.
