IC694ACC310 is a 90-30 series programmable logic controller (PLC) platform accessory module. This module is technically called a filler module, and sometimes a slot filler or dummy module. This element is primarily used to cover the empty slots of the 90-30 series baseboards and to protect electronic circuits from damage caused by exposure to dust, dirt, oil, water, chemical and other industrial elements. The IC694ACC310 occupies a single slot in the chassis. It supports removal and insertion when powered on, as the filling module is not connected to the backplane as it does not contain any electronic circuits, however, care should be taken to insert and remove carefully in older units that are often subject to vibration and shock.
