GE Fanuc IC693CMM301 module is a 90-30 series Genius communication module. This module is used for automatic communication. It enables "global data" communication between GE Fanuc series 90-30 PLCS and up to seven additional devices with a Genius bus. Global data communication refers to the communication involving repeated and automatic transmission of data that can be received by multiple devices with shared databases. Some of the devices that the IC693CMM301 Genius communication module can provide global data include GE Series 90-30 PLCS, GE Series 90-70 PLCS, a computer for programming and configuring applications, and another computer with a PCIM card for data monitoring applications.
