GE Fanuc IC693CPU321 CPU backboard is a 10-slot I/O backboard with an embedded CPU for 90-30 series PLC systems. The IC693CPU321 backboard belongs to the 90-30 series of embedded CPU backboards designed to provide a low cost PLC installation solution. The IC693CPU321 CPU backboard consists of a CPU and integrated memory circuit chips (RAM, EPROM, and EEPROM), which are solidly welded to the backplane circuit of the backboard. The IC693CPU321 CPU baseboard does not come with an expansion connector, so the use of expansion or remote racks is not supported. It has a maximum I/O capacity of 10 I/ OS and is not suitable for applications and systems that require more than 10 I/O modules. The IC693CPU321 baseboard is equipped with a 10 MHZ 80188 microprocessor that provides operational control and execution of all non-Boolean functions at an execution speed of ms/ kg (ms/K).

The IC693CPU321 CPU backboard supports up to 320 discrete inputs and 320 discrete outputs, or 64 analog inputs and 32 analog outputs. The IC693CPU321 CPU backboard has a built-in RS-485 15-pin D-female connector port on the power supply for connecting personal computers running GE Fanuc Windows-based PLC programming software, GE Fanuc handheld programmers, and other serial devices. It also supports other communication options such as serial SNP, RTU, LAN-Genius, Ethernet SRTP, Ethernet Modbus TCP, Profibus-DP, and DeviceNet modules. The IC693CPU321 baseboard supports software configuration using DOs-based LogicMaster, Windows-based Versa-Pro, and Proficy Logic Developer (Machine Edition) software. The IC693CPU321 CPU backboard features 12 KB of battery-powered user logic memory for application storage, with a maximum backplane current consumption of 430 mah at 5 V DC.
