The IC693CPU352 is a modular processor module that is part of GE Fanuc's 90-30 series Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCS). The controller is a single-socket CPU module that can be mounted onto a CPU backboard and supports communication with up to seven (7) I/O expansions and/or remote I/O backboards to maximize the module's I/O capacity. The IC693CPU352 front panel is equipped with SNP LED indicator, P1 and P2 LED indicator. It has a key activation mode selector switch and provides a total of three (3) communication ports. One (1) port is located on the power connector, port 1 is an RJ45 connector, and port 2 is a 9-pin D-sub connector. The IC693CPU352 supports floating-point data processing enabled by the built-in coprocessor. This is an important feature that enables this controller to process data in fractions or decimal values to provide more accurate measurements and data calculations. This can be used by human machine interfaces (HMI) and supervisory Control and data acquisition systems (SCADA) for accurate data readings, or by internal proportional + integral + derivative (PID) controllers for more accurate and precise control. The IC693CPU352 comes with 240 KB of user memory if firmware 9.0 is loaded, and 80 KB of user memory for controllers with firmware lower than version 9. The module has a processor speed of 25 MHz with a processor type of 80386EX and a scan rate of 0.22 milliseconds per 1K step of Boolean logic. The module is configured using LogixMaster 90-30, VersaPro, or Proficy Machine Edition software.

The IC693CPU352 CPU is a GE Fanuc CPU module with an 80386EX processor. The IC693CPU352 CPU supports floating point math operations through the built-in math coprocessor. The IC693CPU352 CPU can be installed in an 8-baseboard system, where one slot is occupied by the CPU module and the other seven slots are expansion slots or remote slots. The IC693CPU352 CPU has a clock speed of 25 MHZ. The typical module scan rate for 1 KB logic is 0.22 ms. Firmware versions prior to version 9.0 have a module memory of 80 KB. However, for firmware versions 9.0 and later, the user memory is increased to 240 KB. The available user memory depends on the memory allocated to register memory, analog input, and analog output. Three integrated serial ports are available on the IC693CPU352 CPU. Provides native support for SNP/SNPX slave and RTU slave operations. However, RTU master support requires a PCM module, while CMM support requires a CMM module. The current requirement of the IC693CPU352 CPU at 5 V DC input voltage is 910 mA. The module does not draw current from a +12 volt DC supply. The IC693CPU352 CPU has a heat dissipation rating of 4.55 watts. The front of the IC693CPU352 CPU provides a key switch for selecting the "Run" or "Stop" mode. The LED indicators for SNR, port 1, and port 2 are also located on the front of the IC693CPU352 CPU. The shielded ground connector is located at the bottom of the module. Using the ladder Diagram software that comes with the firmware upgrade kit, the CPU firmware is loaded onto the flash memory via port 1.
