The IC693MDL754 output module is a positive logic output module rated from 12 to 24 volts DC and 0.75 amps. The IC693MDL754 output module provides 32 outputs, divided into 2 independent groups of 16 outputs each, each group has its own common end. Module outputs are source-type outputs, which means that they provide current to the connected load and the switching load on the positive side. Each output provides a maximum current of 0.75 amps. Each output point on the IC693MDL754 output module supports overcurrent and short circuit protection. If an overcurrent or short circuit occurs, a fault occurs and a fault signal is sent to the CPU. In addition, misconfiguration of DIP switches within any particular group, field side power loss, and ESCP failures can result in fault signals. Both output groups on the module can be used to drive separate loads.
The IC693MDL754 output module can be installed in a PAXSystem RX3i system or a 90-30 series PLC. The power consumption of the module is 300 mA at 5 VDC bus voltage on the system backplane. At 24 volts DC, no heat derating. However, at 30 volts DC, the output drops to temperatures above 104 degrees Fahrenheit. The IC693MDL754 output module has a rated inrush current of 3 amps and no ESCP trip. A typical steady-state overcurrent trip is 5 amps per point. The IC693MDL754 output module operates from 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Unused IC693MDL754 modules should be stored in a place where the ambient temperature is maintained between -40 and 185 degrees Fahrenheit. There are 2 DIP switches on the back of the module. The DIP switch configuration must match the software configuration of the module.
