The IC693MDL940 is a GE-Fanuc 90-3 series Programmable Logic controller (PLC) module. The module is a relay output module designed with four (4) groups, each group of four (4) output channels, a total of sixteen (16) output channels. Each channel of the relay output module is in the form of normally open (NO) contacts, with a maximum current capacity of 2 amps for the pilot duty cycle per output channel, and a maximum output capacity of 4 amps for each common end with a minimum load of 10 mA.

Each output channel has a maximum OFF to ON conversion of 15 ms, an ON to OFF conversion time of 15 ms, and a maximum surge current capacity of 5 amps. The module is designed to isolate the magnetic and logical sides of 1500 V and 500 V between groups. The module occupies a slot in the 90-30 chassis, and the internal power consumption of the 5-volt bus on the backplane is 7 mA (all outputs on), and the internal power consumption of the relay 24V bus on the backplane is 135 mA (all outputs on). The IC693MDL940 is rated to operate at 24 volts DC and 120/240 volts AC, while the operating voltage ranges are 5 to 30VDC and 5 to 250VAC, 50/60 Hz.

The IC693MDL940 can be used to operate drive devices such as indicators, alarms, buzzers, horns, contactors, relays, electromagnetic drive valves and other compatible devices. Each group can operate in a different voltage range for each group. The module is equipped with LED indicators to indicate the status of the module and the individual channels.
