The IC693PWR331 is a GE Fanuc series 90-30 Programmable Logic controller (PLC) module. The device is a high-capacity power supply that provides three (3) output voltages for various functions. The power supply offers +5VDC output (maximum output power is 30 watts), +24VDC relay output (maximum output power is 15 watts), and +24VDC isolated output (maximum output power is 20 watts). As a large capacity power supply, a load capacity of 30 watts can be assigned to the +5VDC output terminal, but the total output power must not exceed 30 watts. The +24VDC relay power output is used to power the electronic circuits on the output relay module, while the +24VDC isolated output module is used internally by some modules, and the external power supply is used for the 24VDC input module.
The IC693PWR331 is equipped with an RS485 communication terminal. This port allows you to connect to a workstation with GE Proficy software installed for configuration. In addition, the same port allows the connection of a handheld programmer (HHP) and other devices that enable the RS485 communication standard.
The IC693PWR331 is equipped with LED indicators to report the status of the module as well as the components connected to the device. It has PWR, OK, RUN and BATT LED indicators. The power supply also hosts a backup battery for maintaining the contents of the PLC's volatile memory. The input voltage range of the IC693PWR331 module is 2 volts DC to 30 volts DC.
