The IC693PWR330 is a large capacity power module that is part of the 90-30 series Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) product family. Compared to standard power supplies, the IC693PWR330 high capacity power module allows consumption of all 30 watts of load capacity to +5VDC output. This allows the power supply to be used in applications where +5VDC requires higher current capacity, typically in larger 90-30 PLC racks. This power supply can only be installed in the left-most slot of the rack. It is mainly used to provide power for the midplane and enable the modules connected to the midplane.
The IC693PWR330 has three (3) outputs. These outputs are the +5 VDC output, the +24 VDC relay power output, which powers the electronic circuits on the 90-30 series output relays, and the isolated +24 VDC, which is used internally by some 90-30 modules and can also be used to provide external power to the 24 VDC input card. The power supply has a load capacity of 30 watts. This load capacity is the total load of all outputs. Individually, a single maximum output is 30 watts for +5VDC, 20 watts for +24VDC, and 15 watts for +24VDC.
This high-capacity power supply features LED status indicators to indicate various states. This LED indicator includes the PWR LED, which is used to monitor whether the module is receiving sufficient external power supply; OK LED describes the overall operating status of the module; The RUN LED and BATT LED indicate the battery level.
The IC693PWR330 has an embedded RS485 communication port. This port is used to connect power to desktop or laptop workstations, GE Fanuc handheld programmers, and other compatible serial devices.
The IC693PWR330 module has a minimum hold time of 20 milliseconds. The power supply unit has industrial protection function.
