The IC697CHS935 is Emerson Automation's VME integrator rack. The rack is used to connect third-party VME modules that are fully compatible with all IC697 PLC modules. By using this integrator rack, it is possible to extend the functionality of the 90-30 series system and perform scaling tasks. The IC697CHS935 is a 90-70 series backplane with 17 module slots. The backplane supports rear mounting to enclosures with a minimum depth of 10 inches or 254 mm. It also supports front mounted using a standard 19-inch rack for easy access.
