The IC697MDL341 output module is a discrete output module of GE Fanuc, belonging to the GE series 90-70. It operates at a rated voltage of 120 to 240 volts AC and has 12 isolation points that ensure different phases are used on the AC power supply. Each output point of the module has a current capacity of 2 amps, as well as a high surge capability of 10 times the rated current, thus allowing a significant range of incandescent and inductive loads. Each output is blown by a replaceable fuse rated at 3.15 amps. The GE Fanuc IC697MDL341 output module has an LED indicator that shows the on and off status of each output point on the logic side of the circuit. In addition, the module has an LED indicator to show the status of different fuses on the module. When any fuse is blown, the LED indicator light will light up to show it.

The IC697MDL341 output module is automatically keyed to ensure correct replacement by using the same type of module on the ground. The operator can configure input and output references without the use of DIP switches and jumpers. The GE Fanuc IC697MDL341 output module is compatible with a wide range of load devices, such as indicators, solenids and motor starters. The current rating for each point is 2 amps, which is appropriate for the current long-term capacity of each point. The overall heat dissipation within this module limits the total current to 16 amps. The output can perform the surge current quickly by exceeding the continuous current rating. The surge repeats, depending on the rated current of the module and the percentage of time the device is powered on or at duty cycle.
