Richmond, Canada - April 16, 2024 - Teledyne FLIR IIS announced the launch of the Bumblebee®X Series, an advanced stereo vision solution based on our best-in-class stereo vision portfolio. Our tradition of stereo vision solutions began 25 years ago with the Triclops® and Digiclops® studied by Grey Dot. Now, we have implemented our new industrial stereo camera Bumblebee X and software Spinnaker®3D to create a comprehensive solution that includes on-board processing to build successful systems for warehouse automation, robot guidance and logistics.

Bumblebee X provides the basic needs of comprehensive real-time stereo vision solutions. Customers can test and deploy depth sensing systems with a wide baseline solution with an operating range up to 20 meters. The low latency makes it ideal for real-time applications such as autonomous mobile robots, self-guided vehicles, pick and place, box pick and palletization.

Factory calibrated 24cm baseline stereo vision with 3 megapixel sensor for real-time applications with high accuracy and low latency

§ IP67 Industrial-grade vision systems with ordering options for color and monochrome, different fields of view, 1GigE or 5GigE PoE

§ On-board processing outputs depth maps and color data for point cloud conversion and coloring

Ability to trigger an external mode projector and synchronize multiple systems for more accurate 3D depth information

Software libraries and articles, sample code, and Windows, Linux, and robotics operating system (ROS) support
