IS200EMIOH1A adopts a redundant fault-tolerant control system platform based on triple module redundancy (TMR) structure, with three main processors, all I/O signals are triplex design, and the hardware is two-out of three voting processing to ensure the system's redundancy fault-tolerant function. Each main processor has a 32-bit CPU and works 3-2-1-0.
The IS200EMIOH1A developed by GE is a PCB component designed specifically for the Speedtronic Mark VI series. The MarkV series is known as a leader in reliable gas turbine/steam turbine management. It is considered a complete monitoring, control and protection solution for heavy-duty turbine systems of varying sizes and complexity. It is mainly used as the main input/output card EX2100, and is designed as a dual-height VME type board occupying one slot. It manages the input/output of EACF, ECTB, EPCT, and EXTB terminal boards. Inputs/outputs include contact inputs, guided trip relay drivers, output relay drivers, and PT and CT signals. It features resistors, 400 capacitors, more than 50 diodes, and 13 transistors, and is designed with a narrow front panel that includes two green light-emitting diodes that indicate the power supply to the board and provide its current operating status.

Exciter main Input/Output The main function of the IS200EMIOH1A board is to manage all input/output of the ECTB, EACF, EXTB, and EPCT terminal boards. The board is the double height reversal module Eurocard, which is also single slot. The other main function of the IS200EMIOH1A is to send the gate pulse signal from the backplane to the ESEL board, after the ESEL board receives the signal, the signal will be sent to the EGPA board located in the power conversion cabinet.
When controlling the input and output of other terminal boards, the IS200EMIOH1A controls the contact input, pilot trip relay drivers, PT and CT signals, and output relay drivers. When the EMIO board is connected to the EXTB board, the EMIO board activates deexcitation, which means that the EMIO board also controls the EDEX board to which the EXTB is connected.
