In the EX2100 system, the IS200ERIOH1A is used as the excitation regulator I/O board. In the EX2100 regulator control system, the IS200ERIOH1A provides system and customer I/O (simplex and redundancy). Depending on the type of system, the board is installed in different locations. For example, in simplex applications, the circuit board is installed in the ERBP. Three IS200ERIOH1A are required in a redundant application. They are connected to ERRB M2 and C and ERBP M1. The front panel of the IS200ERIOH1A is double wide and has various components attached to it.

This package contains a toggle switch. Two backplane connectors (P1/P2) are located on the back edge of the board. The board includes two CPU slots as well as a field programmable gate array (FPGA) for data collection and storage into the DPM control.
When using a simplex system, the board also provides interface system I/O from ERO and ERDD boards. The board is installed in a redundant configuration on the ERBP M1 and ERRB M2/C. The M1/M2/C controllers are all located on the same PCB.
