The IS200ERSCG1A model is an excitation regulator static converter. The main function of the board is to provide pulse width modulated (PWM) DC output for voltage regulator control. Another feature of the regulator is the provision of field discharge, which is done via one of the six IGBT inverter modules. The IGBT on the module is used for a variety of other functions, one of which is discharging a DC connection capacitor to an external resistor.
When the board is powered, it usually uses rectified direct current or alternating current, or it may be used when both supply currents are supplied.
