Model IS200ESELH1A
The IS200ESELH1A is an excitation selector board that was once produced by General Electric under the EX2100 series. When using this board, it will receive six logic level pulse signals from the EMIO it is connected to. The received signal will be sent through a set of six cables, and the signal will then be distributed to the EGPA board. If you use redundant controls when using this board, you must use both IS200ESELH1A models.
The ESEL board has three different sets of ESels, ESEL1, ESEL2, and ESEL3, and depending on the group, there will be a certain number of bridge drivers because this model is an ESEL1 model and only one bridge driver is required. The ESEL model is an integral part of operating the other boards in the EX2100 system, and as mentioned above, the ESEL model sends gate pulse signals to the EGPA board, which are used to control the SCR gate trigger once the EGPA board receives the signal.
Two manuals are available when installing and operating the IS200ESELH1A board. One is the GEH-6632 EX2100 Excitation Control User Guide. This manual is usually used for the EX2100 series, but it contains information about the ESEL board on page 48.
