The NI-9234 is a data acquisition card for sound and vibration input with 4 channels and a sampling rate of 51.2kS/s, which can measure signals from both IEPE and non-IEPE sensors such as accelerometers, tachometers and proximity probes. In addition, the NI-9234 is compatible with smart TEDS sensors, has a wide dynamic range, and integrates software-optional AC/DC coupling and IEPE signal conditioning. Each channel also has a built-in anti-aliasing filter that can be automatically adjusted to the sampling rate.

Each channel has a BNC connector that connects to the signal source. The donkey can enable the channel excitation current to connect the IEPE sensor. See the circuits of NI 9234 for details. central-connector
Pin Al+ provides DC excitation and positive input signal connection (when enabled). The connector housing AI- provides an exciting return path and a signal reference ground.
Connect a signal source to NI 9234 You can connect a grounded or floating signal source to NI 9234 to avoid ground noise. Avoid BNC connectors between metal housings, and with modules or chassis
The contact can further reduce the ground noise.
If the signal source and NI 9234 are grounded, ensure that the voltage on the AlI housing is within the common model envelope to achieve the normal operation of NI 9234. In the range of pressure protection, can prevent AI-outside
The voltage reaches an unexpected high voltage.
The NI 9234 provides IEPE excitation current for ground or floating IEPE sensors used in measurement. The typical IEPE sensor housing is electrically isolated from the IEPE device, so even the sensor housing
Grounded, NI 9234 is still floating connected to the sensor.
The NI 9234 analog input channel is connected to the chassis through a 50 n resistor. To minimize ground noise, ensure that the chassis is grounded. Each channel has overvoltage protection. Each channel loses
After buffering and conditioning, the incoming signal is sampled by a 24-bit Delta-Sigma analog-to-digital converter. The channels can be configured to AC or DC coupling via software. For channels configured as AC coupling, households
IEPE excitation current can be turned on or off.
