Ni-manufactured PCI-5922 (Part number: 779659-01, 779659-02, and 779659-03) oscilloscope devices are ideal for performance audio testing, wireless communications, satellite, ultrasonic medical imaging, signal intelligence, baseband I&Q, mass spectrometry, and other applications. The NI PCI-5922 oscilloscope device features high resolution, a maximum bandwidth of 6 MHz, two voltage input channels, a multifunctional measurement range of up to 24 bits, and a sampling rate of up to 15 MS per second.
PCI-5922 comes with two application programming interfaces (apis) : NI-SCOPE SFP and NI-SCOPE Instrument drivers. The NI-oscilloscope SFP acquires, adjusts, evaluates, and displays information much like a conventional oscilloscope. This API runs on a PC, so users can view and adjust waveforms from their computer. Multiple sessions of NI-SCOPE SFP can run simultaneously. On the other hand, NI-SCOPE instrument drivers can arrange and use the hardware of the oscilloscope, And through LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, Measurement Studio, Microsoft Visual C/C++,.NET and other application programming interfaces to provide customizable acquisition functions. Device hardware can be configured using the Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) tool.
Additional features of the NI PCI 5922 include adaptive Settings for voltage range and coupling, multiple trigger modes, large onboard memory, and instrument drivers with data streaming and evaluation capabilities. The device is equipped with a 9-pin miniature circular DIN, 2 BNC female heads, and 2 SMB front panel connectors. NI instruments can be self-calibrated or externally calibrated. However, an external calibration is recommended at least every 2 years.
