SLS1508 RRS3202 Application:

DeltaV SIS Hardware Delta vsi process safety system consists of hardware:
Redundant logic solver (SLS 1508) and termination block

The logic solver (sls1508) contains the logic solver and provides an interface with 16 1/0 channels
Configured for discrete input, discrete output,  analog input (HART) and HART two-state output channels. The Logical Solver terminal block is mounted on an 8-wide  carrier. Logic solvers ring between operators via a dual-channel,  local peer bus (SISnet) and remote peer. The local logic solver consists of the same delta managed controller and the  remote logic solver consists of different homing controllers. The logic solver is powered by a 24v DC power supply and  the power supply that drives the motor is separate from the DeltaV controller and 1/0. The logical solver is fitted with an odd number of 8-wide drills on slots (1,3,5,7). The redundant logic solver uses four slots.
