T8461C  Three-mode redundancy (TMR) 24V DC / 48V DC digital output module

Trusted® Three-Mode Redundancy (TMR) 24V DC / 48V DC digital output modules interface to 40 field devices. Three diagnostic tests are performed throughout the module, including measurements of the current and voltage in each part of the voting output channel. Tests are also performed for bonding and tripping faults. Fault tolerance is achieved through the TMR architecture within the module and can be used for each of the 40 output channels.
Provides automatic line monitoring of field equipment. This function enables the module to detect open and short circuit faults in field wiring and load equipment.
The module provides onboard Event sequence (SOE) reports with a resolution of 1ms. The output change of the state triggers the SOE entry. The output state is automatically determined by voltage and current measurements on the module.
This module is not allowed to be directly connected to hazardous areas and should be used in conjunction with essential safety barrier devices.
