IC660BBA020 is a Genius I/O block. The module is specifically a combined analog I/O module with four (4) analog input channels accommodating 0-10 VDC, 10 VDC, 5 VDC, 0-5 VDC, 4-20 mA (or 1-5 VDC) input signals and two (2) analog output channels. Supports 0-10 VDC, 10 VDC, 5 VDC, 0-5 VDC, and 4-20 mA (or 1-5 VDC). It has an integral converter circuit, and the converter resolution is 12 bit resolution plus symbol. The module is independently powered with input voltage of 18-56 VDC and nominal power supply of 24 VDC. It has embedded support for the Genius Bus protocol, allowing the module to exchange I/O data with the Genius Bus master station over the network. Each channel has an update rate of every 4 ms and comes with software-tunable filter responses, including none, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512 and 1024mS. The input filter is used to stabilize the received input signal, limiting fluctuations and more useful readings. It also has self-diagnostic capabilities that can detect Underrange, Overrange, High Alarm, and Low Alarm. It also has a configurable Open Wire Output setting that allows the signal to become Underrange and Overrange upon detection. The typical accuracy of IC660BBA020 is 0.2% of full scale, up to 0.5% of full scale. The IC660BBA020 has an open housing design and therefore must be installed in the housing. The environment must be clean, free of air pollutants, and provide proper airflow. This module can be mounted face up or upside down. If used with multiple blocks, there must be a gap of at least 2 inches between them.
The IC660BBA020 analog I/O Block is a GE Fanuc I/O block with 4 input circuits, 2 output circuits, and 2 block versions. It offers five analog power ranges of 0 to 10 volts DC, -5 volts DC to +5 volts DC, -10 volts DC to +10 volts DC, 0 to 5 volts DC, and 4 to 20 MA /1 to 5 volts DC. The IC660BBA020 analog I/O module also provides independent scaling and fault reporting for individual input and output channels. The typical thermal drift of the component at 25 degrees Celsius is 10 PPM per degree Celsius. Users can use any GE Fanuc IC66 handheld display with this GE I/O module. It also provides advanced diagnostic capabilities to generate fault messages. The IC660BBA020 analog I/O block can be used with a variety of input and output devices, such as buttons, relays, sensors and industrial operator interfaces. To power the module, a 24 or 48 volt DC power supply can be used externally. The input circuit of the module is responsible for converting the received voltage or current value to a 12-digit digital value. The scaling tool can be used to convert the final value to engineering units. The output channel provides an analog voltage or current value based on the converted digital value from the CPU. The IC660BBA020 analog I/O block has 2 status indicator leds on the panel. Since it is an open device, make sure that the module is installed in a protective housing. Installation area must be clean and free of corrosive elements. The power supply should be connected to terminals 6 and 7.
