The GE Fanuc IC660BLC003 cable is a prefabricated cable with matching connectors and is 36 inches in size. The IC660BLC003 cable is the Belden 9182 cable for routing between I/O blocks. When using an IC660BLC003 cable to connect an I/O block, the cable should be connected to the first or last block so that it can lead towards the top of the block. In addition, 150 ohm termination plugs should be installed on serial ports 1 and 2 using the IC660BLC003 cable. The method recommended by GE Fanuc to connect buses to I/O blocks is to connect them directly to the terminal assembly on the block. Such bus connections are usually considered permanent.
