The IC693ACC302 is an auxiliary battery pack designed to provide extended memory retention time for various 90-30 series, 90-70 series, and even PACSystems controllers. The battery pack has a capacity of 15.0 amp hours and provides up to 15 months of memory backup when used with the IC693 CPU374 controller. Provides up to 75 months of memory backup when used with 311-364 IC693 cpus and all existing IC697 cpus.
By maintaining the CPU's memory, especially random access memory (RAM), it can continue to operate even after power cycles, maintenance outages, and even unplanned power outages, as this auxiliary backup battery internally powers volatile memory by providing the necessary low voltage level and prevents erasing the memory contents.
The IC693ACC302 is made of black flame retardant ABS plastic and comes with a 2.0 foot (0.6 m) red/black twisted pair 24 AWG lead with a 2-pin female connector that connects the battery to the module. It has a shelf life of 7 years and an ideal operating temperature of 0-60 degrees Celsius.
In order to meet environmental requirements, consuming IC693ACC302 requires safe handling. In addition, in order to identify the manufacturing information of the battery pack, a date code is provided for battery disposal reference. Any unused battery pack past its expiration date must be discarded immediately.
