The GE Fanuc IC693ACC340 power supply is a redundant power supply system that is part of the GE Series 90-30. The GE Fanuc IC693ACC340 redundant power supply system has a backboard with 2 slots for standard power supply units. In addition to this, it comes with a cable for adapter connection to the IC693ACC340 power system, 24 volt DC user output, and LED lights to display the status of the power module as well as the relay output status. At present, the GE series 90-30 has two models of redundant power supply baseboards. The plates are identical except for the length of the connecting cable. For the GE Fanuc IC693ACC340 redundant power base plate, it comes with a 0.125 meter cable.

GE Fanuc's IC693ACC340 redundant power system connects to the standard IC639 Programmable Logic controller (PLC) power slot on the baseboard. The system also comes with a connector for redundant power connection cables to the adapter. In addition, the system is equipped with a backup serial port and a battery connector for the PLC. However, the backup serial port and battery connector do not work when used on a single power supply. Users must always comply with the specified ventilation gaps when installing the IC693ACC340 redundant power system. All 4 sides of the baseplate must have a gap of at least 4 mm. This distance helps to provide adequate ventilation to the floor. When mounted on a vertical surface, the bottom plate is horizontally oriented in length and can reach its rated full load at 60 degrees Celsius (140 degrees Fahrenheit). This mounting orientation allows for optimal ventilation of the power supply.
