The IC693MDL916 is a relay output module that is part of the GE Fanuc series 90-30 programmable logic controllers. The module is A single slot wide module with sixteen (16) individually isolated Type A or normally open (N.O.) contacts. The module has a maximum rated output current of 4 amps per contact and can operate at AC and DC voltages, specifically 5-125 VDC / 5-250 VAC. The IC693MDL916 is a single-slot module that can be installed on a 90-30 series baseboard. It occupies a single slot and supports running as both local and distributed I/O components. Install as many IC693MDL916 modules as you need, limited only by the I/O capabilities, memory capacity, and available mounting slots of the 90-30 series systems. In addition, the IC693MDL916 can act as a distributed I/O component for modern PAC systems RX3i and RX7i Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) platforms. The power consumption of the IC693MDL916's 5VDC backplane is 300 mA. It requires the use of high-density terminals. The DIP switch on the back of the IC693MDL916 output module can be used to change the default mode to Hold Last State mode or to activate the Force OFF function to force power off the module. The DIP switch on the module determines the stop mode output operation on the CPU and determines when the CPU is unable to communicate with the module. The default mode of the output set through the DIP switch must be the same as the default mode configured through the software configuration process.
