Product description Relay output module

The IC693MDL930 is a discrete output module that is part of the 90-30 series Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) family, formerly manufactured by GE Fanuc and now owned by Emerson Automation. The module is A Type A output single-slot wide of eight (8) individually isolated normally open (N.O.) contacts, compatible with Series 90-30 modular and embedded central processing unit (CPU) module components as both local and distributed I/O components. In addition, the module supports modern RX3i and RX7i systems as distributed output modules. The module is compatible with motor starters, solenoid drive devices and indicators. The rated current output of the IC693MDL930 contact is 4 amps, for the resistance load per point, the maximum; The pilot load is 2 amps per point and 20 amps per module for UL installation, while the minimum load for the module is 10 mA. Each contact output can operate at nominal voltages of 24 VDC and 120/240 VDC, while the operating voltage range is 5-30 VDC / 5-250 VAC and the frequency is 50/60 Hz. It also produces a maximum surge current of 5 amps, while the maximum channel response time for On and Off signal conversion is 15 ms. The module has an internal power consumption of 6 mA with all output coming from the 5 V bus on the backplane and an internal power consumption of 70 mA with all output coming from the relay 24V bus on the backplane. By isolation, each output channel can operate at different voltages, providing maximum operational flexibility. The module's isolation rating is 1500 volts between the field side and the logical side, and 500 volts between channels.

The GE IC693MDL930 module is a digital output module. The IC693MDL930 output module can be installed in any slot of the 90 slot or 30 slot backplane in the GE Fanuc 5-10 PLC system. The IC693MDL930 module has 8 normally open relay circuits for managing user loads. The output switch capacity of a single module output is 4 amps. Each module output is isolated from the other module output, and each module output has its own common terminal. The IC693MDL930 module does not contain any fuses. The power supply for the user field device connected to the module output needs to be supplied by the user. An LED indicator indicating the status of each output point is located at the top of the module. The IC693MDL930 module is rated for 24 volts DC or 120 to 240 volts AC. The operating voltage is 5 to 30 volts direct current or 5 to 250 volts alternating current (50 to 60 Hz). For UL installations, the peak load is 4 amps of resistance current per output, 2 amps of pilot load current per output, and the maximum current per IC693MDL930 module is 20 amps. The minimum load is 10 mA and the maximum inrush current is 5 amps. When the PLC backplane provides 5 volts DC, the module consumes 6 MA, and when the PLC backplane provides 24 volts DC, the module consumes 70 mA. The IC693MDL930 module operates in a temperature range of 0 to 50 degrees Celsius. When the value exceeds the threshold, the module output derates. For switching inductive loads, the relay contact life is typical of the resistive load contact life when a suppressor circuit is used.
