The 90-70 Series IC697CBL700 cable is an extension cable for power supplies manufactured by GE Fanuc. The main function of the IC697CBL700 extension cable is to operate 2 different racks while using a single power supply. The second rack consumes less current than the first rack. The IC697CBL700 cable can be plugged directly into the backplane mounted connector. It is suitable for AC/DC power supplies rated at 55 watts and 100 watts. The IC697CBL700 cable can transmit 5 volts of power at a time from the power interrupter to the second rack and the control signal. For control, cables transmit ACFAIL and SYSRESET signals. After 5 volts of bus voltage is applied, the ACFAIL signal becomes false. After applying 5 volts, the SYSRESET signal can remain reset for up to 200 milliseconds.
