The IC697CPX782 module is a CPU module designed for use with GE Fanuc series 90-70 programmable logic controllers. In addition to 1 MB of battery-operated memory, the module includes 256 KB of non-volatile memory. The IC697CPX782 module supports BMA in version 7.92 and later. The microprocessor on which the IC697CPX782 module is based is the 80486DX4 microprocessor with a clock speed of 96 MHz. The IC697CPX782 module supports up to 8,000 analog I/ OS and 12,000 I/ OS (any mix). The rated time taken to process a single Boolean function is 0.4 microseconds. The IC697CPX782 module supports firmware upgrade in the system. The configuration of the modules is performed by software running on computers that are connected to the modules via Ethernet or serial connections.
