The GE Fanuc IC697MEM713 programmable Coprocessor module is a high-performance microcomputer designed to perform coprocessor functions, which combines the functions of a communication module and an ASCII or Basic module. IC697MEM713 module is suitable for 90-70 series GE Fanuc PLC. It is configured for use with 1 or 2 independent CCM ports or only with a serial port. The IC697MEM713 module is a programmable coprocessor module that can be programmed using a powerful BASIC language called MegaBasic. This programming language can effectively collect data, ensure the effective storage of data, and perform the function of data retrieval while ensuring real-time calculation.
The IC697MEM713 module has the Restart or Reset button to set the module to the RUN Mode or PROGRAM Mode state. Note that pressing the Restart/Reset button for less than 5 seconds will cause the IC697MEM713 to enter RUN mode. This is called a soft reset. Holding the Restart/Reset button for more than 10 seconds will cause the PCM to enter PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT mode. The IC697MEM713 module features up to 3 LED indicators located on the top and front of the PCM. The first LED indicator shows "OFF state", which means that the IC697MEM713 module is not working properly. This can happen if the hardware fails. The second LED displays "ON state" and lights up steadily unless something goes wrong. The last LED flashes whenever the power-on diagnostic process occurs.
